Introduction As a Senior Site Manager, Derek ensures all walls and ceilings are set out correctly and built to the correct specification according to the plans. He also has to oversee the quality of the finish and make sure it meets the standard expected.
Professional History Since leaving school, Derek set out to gain his qualifications in carpentry. He is a fully qualified carpenter/joiner and has many years experience in shop-fitting including partition walls, timber, metal stud and ceilings. Derek has a City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery and NVQ Level 2 in suspended ceilings and drywall partitions.
Interests When you can persuade Derek not to be at work, he'll be spending his time with his family. He also enjoys watching football and playing darts.
